Bardini Garden

A short walk across the River Arno to the Bardini Garden. Not many people there; probably because not much is in bloom. But the layout of the garden is wonderful and the views from the top are spectacular no matter what time of year.

The garden ticket also provides access to the Boboli Gardens but we did not have the time at the end of this day to visit Boboli.

The garden would be spectacular in spring and early summer; but also full of people. We enjoyed the serenity of fewer flowers and fewer people.

Enjoying the view after a long walk up the garden hillside. (And yes, I do know Dee is taller than me!)
